The Clinic spawned in 1997 . . . It started up as a continuum for an idealism that Brandon discovered in many realms prior to its actual incursion into the art scene. These realms were places where the people in and around them maintained a steady balance of art and creative flow. The pads where people gathered to create art, make music, and influence one another. Being a realm that he wanted to create where these activities were sought to be perfected by the members who make it what it is, he called his imaginary realm The Clinic, named after a similar establishment where the dwellers of the pad were practically masters of their preferred art, The Mitchell Clinic.
Now, almost three years has gone by, and The Clinic has proven to be what Brandon set out to make it. With the discovery of Ethan and Frank, the circle of creative talent was complete, and the three of them worked together and separated for the most part. Ethan and Frank had already been working together, doing what Brandon did when he was their age. Brandon seen the talent within them, and the creative fire that they had, completing works of art at a rapid pace that astounded him.
It is now 1999, and The Clinic has done three live exhibits of its work. Two masterpieces have been worked on, and a lot of literature, photos, and sketch books have already been amassed. The members are finally together to begin working on some of the most laborious projects they have yet undertaken: finishing An Antipode and beginning work on musical projects. The history of it all will be written as it happens. No one knows what the future holds for this very creative force, and only time can tell.
Mission Statement
Our mission here at
The Clinic is to maintain an environment where there is a steady flow of creativity in and around it. Our aim is to use this environment to its fullest potential, and to exploit all of the talent that exists within and surrounding it.
In order to maintain this environment, our centers of focus involve spreading Clinical creations as far and wide as possible. In order to achieve a stability and balance, we understand that there must be a flow of capital. To attempt to meet this demand, we commission any and all of our talents.
Our outlook on the future involves a steady exhibition schedule for all of our works both visual, written, recorded, and whatever other media we engage in. The full circle will begin to form when past works begin laying down the foundations for future and present projects.
