We look into the books, we dig
Researching the words of experts who once lived
To try to get a better understanding
Found in the information they are mishandling
There's a lot of things that go unwritten
And are still thought to be studied by scholars
But an important point they are forgetting
Is that they don't live that way for hours and hours
Inside the mind of another human being
Is a complex and self serving thing
An infinity of motives and intentions
Blocked by outside interference and tension
Before another drug is prescribed
And before another dealer is tried
Before another "psychopath" is fried
Let's look at who was honest and who lied
