I guess I lied to myself
Thinking there was no way back
This is a struggle within

You had founded a shrine
To put me on again
Why do we worship eachother
Can't we just live undercover

Does it have to be strong
There's a million people don't care
And I'm too tired of trying
And you're too tired of crying

Why do we have to sacrifice
Whatever life is on our own
To feel the love that's everywhere
And still eachother - we would share

These rings and paper don't mean much to me
From what I've seen
Someone can steal away the dream
And steal away a love from another
Why can't we be - undercover
