Vertigo

One man sitting in a chair in the corner
Playing his heart out on a guitar string
His life flows out with every E chord
Suddenly he begins to sing

I felt a ping in my heart
The others had all moved on
My conscious became a part
Suddenly the voice was gone

I struggled to emit emotions
While feeling really nothing at all
Below me was bottomless oceans
My life was just one big fall

And still I'm falling

The bottom changes its face
When it loses its fearsome depth
Man, I think I need more space
I need to take a deeper breath
